Tori and Zach Roloff have been part of reality TV as a couple on LPBW for more than a decade now. Little People Big World has been all about raising awareness about the little person community. Hence, it was a completely new dynamic for the Roloffs when Tori and Zach got together. After all, Tori is an average size person, while Zach isn’t. They talked about this in the new episode of their podcast.
Well, Tori quickly said that things weren’t easy for them when she finally told her friends and family that he was a little person. Out of everyone, especially Tori’s dad, who was against her relationship. So, how did she manage to convince him and everyone else around her?

It’s been many years since Tori and Zach became part of Little People Big World. While their journey on the show came to an end, they are still sharing tons of things from their life TLC cameras never captured. One of them was how things were between their families when they had just started dating. The LPBW couple spoke up about it openly on their podcast, Raising Heights. Tori mentioned how her father had doubts when she began dating Zach.
It happened especially after she saw his pictures and realised he was a little person. Tori’s father asked her multiple times if she was sure. It wasn’t the guy he had “pictured for” his daughter. But the couple didn’t have to do much convincing. Once Tori’s dad met Zach, everything made sense to him. He could understand why she liked him so much. Tori even jokes about how her family likes Zach more than her now.
Tori very proudly said the height difference issue was the last thing on her father’s mind when he met Zach. He instantly got why they liked eachother so much and were dating. All LPBW fans gushed at this aspect of their love story. They agreed on how easy it is for people to assume differently when they don’t know the whole picture until they finally do. Now, Tori and Zach have been married for almost 9 years and have three beautiful kids together.

Zach also weighed in on his perspective as Tori revealed the story of how her family got on board with her dating him. The LPBW star said that as a person with a disability, he had always wanted people to overlook the obvious physical aspect. He was glad that his future wife was able to do that from the get-go. Despite how hard it was, Tori had no issues doing that.
Tori also said that one looks for all the things that are wrong when a person isn’t right for them. Even if there was a height difference between her and Zach, nothing was wrong with him in her eyes.
