Matt Roloff from Little People Big World has become the franchise’s villain. It all began last year when he upset his kids, Zach and Jeremy. It was because they couldn’t get to live their dream of living on their 100-acre family property. Matt wasn’t willing to negotiate and had an unreasonable price for the land. At last, the LPBW patriarch finally opened up about selling the farm in the latest episodes. As he was drinking with one of his buddies, things blew out of proportion, and he called his kids “monsters”. Keep reading to know how this went down.
LPBW: Unapologetic Matt Calls His Kids ‘Little Monsters’ After Their Ugly Farm Feud!
In the latest Little People Big World episode, Matt met with a friend, Bob. Both of them talked about the farm feud. The LPBW started it off by calling it “craziness”. While discussing the fight, he stated that negotiating with family is always “tough”. Matt mentioned that his son wanted all sorts of “guarantees” and had “demands” that just weren’t floating his boat, and he couldn’t accommodate. Bob said that his friend might have a “stubborn streak”. He also mentioned in the confessional that he feels no one “cares about the family” more than Matt.
Matt also admitted to his mistakes. He mentioned that he made a mistake in believing that his kids would find a way to “keep the farm in the family”. However, that wasn’t the case. Apparently, Zach and his family are now in Washington. Meanwhile, Jeremy has his own farmland in Hillsboro, a 10-minute drive from Roloff Farms. The LPBW patriarch reflected on the phrase “creating a monster”. He then stated that he created a bunch of “little monsters”. The audience was surprised at Matt’s behavior and claimed he never apologized for his actual mistakes, calling out his arrogance.
LPBW: Matt Roloff Refuses To Admit That He Made The Kids Think They Will “Inherit” The Farm
While talking to his friend Bob, Matt admitted another one of his mistakes. He mentioned that his kids grew up believing they would be able to “inherit” the property after they were of age. However, the celebrity instead wanted them to think that they could keep the farmland as a “legacy”. With this, Matt flat-out refused to accept that he used the word “inherit”. The Roloff family head “assumed” that his kids would run the business together, as a team, and have a “share”. At last, he mentioned it is wrong of him to keep an expectation that is “no longer valid”.
His friend, Bob, listened to Matt’s Dilemma patiently. After listening to his friend’s side of the story, he mentioned that the Roloff siblings did the “right thing”. He created a piece of their “own world,” as they will be “happier for that”. It has been a year since Matt and Zach had a falling out. Unfortunately, they still haven’t bridged the gap created since the fight broke out. Hence, it seems like the property dispute has created a permanent scar in the family. Do you think the Roloffs will recover from it in the future? Tell us in the comments below! Keep reading more LPBW updates on TV Season & Spoilers.
