However, the couple just made it official by making a full-fledged birth announcement. During the reality star’s pregnancy, the couple had already revealed the gender of the baby. Hence, they had a baby boy. Isabel made the post on her Instagram handle and revealed that they had their son on December 4, 2021.
Before this, a few months ago, TV Season & Spoilers had exclusively reported that the name of their baby boy would most likely be a tribute to Tomas Garretson. He is Isabel Roloff’s late brother, who unfortunately lost his life at 25. This turned out to be accurate as the couple has named their firstborn Mateo Tomás. Emphasizing more on her delivery, the TLC alum mentioned that their birth story didn’t go “as planned”. Despite this, she now knows what “trust” and “true surrender” look like.
Moreover, the couple is settling well with parenthood. That’s because Isabel revealed that being a mother is the most herself that she has ever felt. At the same time, seeing her husband be a dad is also “the most heartwarming thing” she has ever witnessed.

Unlike Isabel, Jacob Roloff never expresses himself candidly on social media. However, after the birth of his son, he couldn’t stop himself from hinting at how parenthood feels. On his Twitter handle, the ex-star shared that he is well prepared to take care of his newborn baby. He posted a picture holding a book with a brand new crib in the background. Furthermore, he captioned the post, ‘dad mode’. People from the LPBW fanbase assumed that he would be keeping an eye on the baby as he caught up on some reading.
Many of them found it heartwarming that the new father doesn’t want to stay away from his little son for even a second. Although we got a little glimpse of the new Roloff baby, it is least likely that the couple will share pictures of his face. Both of them have revealed that they don’t feel comfortable exposing their child to the world due to privacy reasons. However, Isabel mentioned that they might change their mind in the near future.
