Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff haven’t gotten along in a long, long while. Since the Little People Big World stars divorced in 2017, things haven’t been the same with them. While they have moved on and are with different partners, the tensions amongst them still become part of LPBW. Despite being exes, they still star in the show together.
But that hasn’t stopped the former couple from calling each other out. Everyone knows how upset Matt made Jeremy and Zach by deciding not to sell them a piece of the family farm. This also angered Amy as she, too, saw her family carrying on the Roloff legacy. It turns out she has openly called out Matt and slammed his business venture.
LPBW: Amy Wants The Family To Live In The Big House, Upset That Matt Made It Into A Rental!
Amy and Matt Roloff haven’t been on the best of terms since their divorce. What added more fuel to the fire was the farm feud. Both Jeremy and Zach have openly said how their father snubbed him by not letting them live on the farm. As per a brand new promo from the upcoming LPBW Season 25, Amy talked about the same. She decided to voice her concern when Matt announced his idea to turn the Big House, where all 6 Roloffs used to live together, into a short-term rental.
The LPBW matriarch very bluntly said that she had “never pictured” the house that she raised her four kids in for 30 years would become a “short-term rental.” Amy instead felt that “there should be a family in it.” This could have been a dig at her ex for not letting Zach and Jeremy raise their families on the farm. They have moved on since then and live in different properties.
Matt had announced that he has turned the Big House into a short-term rental in December 2022. It was quite a shocking change as he had first put the place up for sale for $4 million! But he instead decided to turn it into a vacation rental for all LPBW fans who had grown up seeing the house on their TV screens. They could now live in it.
LPBW: Amy Sold Her Land To Matt For Him To Give To The Kids!
Amy and Matt Roloff together owned Roloff farms up until the divorce. In LPBW, they had specified how the former had the north side of the farm under her name. But when she left the property after the separation, she decided to sell her acres of the farm to her ex. The sole reason why Amy did so was because she hoped Matt would let their son Zach have it.
But Zach has been vocal about Matt “manipulating the narrative” and not letting them have a chance to take over. In Season 23, he and Tori had a sit down with the patriarch and Caryn to talk about the future of the farm. But things ended so badly that they didn’t have a deal. Then Zach and Tori decided to leave Oregon and permanently move to Washington to get away from Matt.
The trailer for the upcoming season has assured that Matt and Zach are going to lock horns again regarding the farm feud with no intention of waving the white flag. So, are you excited about seeing the father-son duo back on screens again? Tell us in the comments. Until then, keep track of all the latest LPBW updates by staying tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
