Towards the end of the previous year, Little World Big World alum Jacob Roloff shocked the entire reality TV industry. In a social media post, he revealed a horrifying incident that took place when he was a child. The young TV star accused a TLC producer of molestation back when he was filming for the show. Everyone around Jacob showered him with love and support after he came out to the world. Moreover, people soon realized that this heartbreaking incident could be one of the reasons why he left the show at a young age. However, recent reports suggest that it wasn’t just Jacob. Little People Big World: Why Did Molly Leave The Show?
Jacob’s exit from the TLC show was quite controversial as he revealed that everything about the show was fake alongside other accusations. However, it wasn’t just him amongst the Roloff kids who left the farm and the show. Jeremy Roloff and their sister Molly also quit appearing on reality TV years ago. While Jeremy (and his wife) had some reasons to give, the family never discussed anything about the only daughter.
However, there was only one rumor that was roaming around the internet related to Molly’s exit. It explains that after her marriage, she was living somewhere far away from the farm. Well, as of some latest details, there is a chance that the actual reason was very disturbing.
Little People Big World: Molly Had “Scary” Encounters While Filming For The Show
Jacob’s coming out was a big revelation and shock to the entire family. Yet, it wasn’t something that they had never expected would happen. In fact, Matt and Amy were always very protective of their children upon stepping into the reality TV world. Matt recently appeared in an interview with Alec Lace, who has a YouTube channel called First Class Fatherhood. Amongst a bunch of things, the Little People Big World dad talks about Jacob’s molestation and how shocked his family was when they got to know about it. During this discussion, Roloff mentions how worried he and his now-ex-wife Amy were for their young kids.
Since the show was exposing them to a lot of unknown people, they tried to prepare their kids for such things. The couple talked to the children about this regularly. This is when Matt mentions that there were other “scares” during the early days of Little People Big World. The Roloff kids were all very young at that time, which is exactly 15 years ago from now. Hence, the parents were extra protective towards everyone, especially their only daughter. They were concerned about Molly’s safety as they didn’t want her to get involved in any scary event.
Later on, the LPBW dad also mentions that when the family started this reality show, they gained a huge fan following. However, many of these fans were overzealous. In fact, these obsessed fans were fixated on different members of the family. Hence, the parents always had the feeling that something bad might happen to somebody someday. Amid all this, many viewers felt like Matt was hinting that Molly also went through something disturbing that the family won’t talk about.
