Little People Big World: Chris Sells His $460K Bachelor House To Move In With Amy Roloff

TLC

Little People Big World star Amy Roloff is excited as her fiance prepares to move in with her. The couple is set to marry sometime next year. Reportedly, Chris sold off his old property at more than the asking price and is gearing up to become Amy’s roommate. Let’s take a dig into this.

Little People Big World: Chris Sold The Property For More Than Asking Price

According to a news tabloid, The Sun, Chris Marek sold his $460,000 bachelor pad to move in with Amy. He had put his three bedrooms, two bathroom Oregon home on the market. He himself played the role of the agent and sold the property for more than the asking price. As per reports, the house was up on sale for only three days before it was sold for $30k more than the listed price, i.e., $430k. Chris purchased the modest house in 2003 for just $168k, so it seems that he earned a good profit on it.

The fans got to know about Chris’ moving in with Amy when the latter dropped a comment on Tori’s post. In late November, Tori made a social media post showing a cozy winter scene from a nearby Washington state trip. Amy took to the comments section and wrote, ‘What a fun getaway trip. If Chris wasn’t moving, I would think I [sic] of doing this too. Have a great time, so pretty.’

Amy And Chris All Set To Move In Ahead Of Their Fairytale Wedding

The last season of the TLC show saw Chris admitting to the fact that he didn’t want to move in with his bride-to-be right away. In fact, he said that he plans to rent out his property. However, now that their marriage is probably a few weeks (or maybe, months) away, he decided to take the next big step. The sources closed to the couple confirmed the news!

Amy Roloff purchased this Oregon property in May of 2018, for $589k. The four-bed, four-bath home in Hillsboro, Oregon, was just a half-hour away from Chris’ former pad. However, after all the renovations were done, she moved in to live by the end of the year. This followed her official exit from Roloff farms, her home of many years. Currently, the couple is busy decorating Amy’s house ahead of the Christmas celebrations. We hope to hear about their wedding soon!
