Little People Big World: Chris Suggests Matt & Caryn Made Amy’s Kids Uncomfortable!
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Amy and Chris talked about their wedding day and recalled many incredible moments from it. They tied the knot in August 2021. The ceremony took place in Hillsboro, Oregon. Well, keeping aside from grudges, Amy and Matt have been pretty respectful of each other after their divorce. In fact, things have been enough friendly that the wedding happened at Matt’s Roloff farms. However, a lot of TLC viewers weren’t happy when Matt and his girlfriend Caryn were nowhere to be seen at the event. Chris has finally revealed the real reason why!
Amy’s husband expressed that the whole event could have been uncomfortable for the kids! By kids, he referred to Amy and Matt’s kids Molly, Jeremy, Jacob, and Zach. He later clarified that they would have felt mixed emotions to see both their parents there. They simply wouldn’t know which either of the two they should be happy for. On the other hand, Matt was not at all bothered by this. In fact, he happily handed over the keys of the farm to the couple. Instead, he vacationed with his girlfriend Caryn during that time and flew off to Arizona.

Both Chris and Amy had realized the awkward nature of having their wedding at Matt’s farm. In the interview, Amy also explained that having the wedding at the farm was always plan B. She had other venues in mind for the awaited day. However, her ex surprised the lovers by offering them the farm himself! In fact, he made a lot of arrangements so that the ceremony took place smoothly. This included building a brand new barn. This was supposed to be his dream barn, but the Roloff patriarch figured it would also help his former partner on her big day.
It turns out that the kind of friendship shared between Amy’s former and current partner really moved the fans! Despite the controversial circumstance between Chris and Matt, they ended up becoming really good friends. This even alarmed Amy in an episode, and she advised her husband not to chum up to her ex all that much.
