King Charles is all set to travel abroad for the first time next month since his unexpected cancer diagnosis. His family members will accompany him. However, as per reports someone from the royal family will not be a part of this event. The royal family is travelling to Normandy, France for the 80th D-Day anniversary. Keep reading to find out who will stay in London while the whole family is in a French estate.
Royal Family’s Visit To Normandy, Will Kate Be There?
King Charles and other family members are preparing for an overseas trip just weeks after resuming his royal duties. Next month, the British monarch will visit Normandy, France, for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. He will be joined by Queen Camilla and Prince William.
Furthermore, royal commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo spoke to GB News and informed that Kate Middleton is unlikely to join them. The Princess of Wales has been focusing on her health after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. So, it is likely that she will be a no-show at the events.
Even though King Charles is being joined by his eldest son, the Princess of Wales is not expected to attend the D-Day anniversary. The expert also recalled Kate’s appearance at last year’s ceremony, where she wore a beautiful green dress. There has been no official confirmation about her attendance this year, but it seems unlikely.
As for Prince William, he will participate in events at the Canadian Juno Beach and Omaha Beach. There has been no mention of the Princess of Wales attending. The expert also noted that it is unlikely to be seen at the Trooping the Colour event.
King Charles Will Attend the Event With the Queen
Moreover, Buckingham Palace confirmed he will attend events in June. Even though Queen Camilla wants him to slow down, King Charles is keeping his busy schedule. While speaking to the outlet, a Royal commentator said, “The Queen has said that if he behaved better, he’d be improving far more rapidly.”
She might be worried about all the activities he’s done recently, like visiting the air base in Hampshire to hand over duties to his son. The 75-year-old monarch also hosted a garden party for 4,000 people from the creative industries.
We all wish King Charles and Princess of Wales a quick and stable recovery. For more such royal family news & updates, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers!
