King Charles III: Camilla Takes A Solo Trip To Ireland!
Queen Camilla said, “He’s doing very well. He was very disappointed he couldn’t come.” She came up with the statement after the shop assistant gave her a get-well card for King Charles III. Moreover, the Queen cracked a joke about trying to keep him in order. It comes after someone teased about men “not being the best patients.” “I try to keep him in order,” she replied about her husband of 18 years.
Later at Coffey’s Butcher, Camilla took some treats for King Charles, including vegetable rolls, beef sausages, and Belfast pickle. She added, “I shall take these back to my husband. He will really make the most of them.” Furthermore, the Queen popped into Knotts Bakery and focused on fruit loaf and iced Madeira. However, she didn’t make any promises about whether the goodies would make it home to Charles intact.
The baker there revealed that Camilla might gobble them down on her way home. After her little food excursion, Queen Camilla chilled at Hillsborough Castle, the royal digs in Northern Ireland. It is the same Palace where her charity hosted a poetry event, “Northern Ireland: Poets and Their Place,” on World Poetry Day. Meanwhile, King Charles III couldn’t tag along with his wife. Here’s why!
Charles Keeps Busy with the Royal Work
The reigning monarch buried himself in work as he held court at Buckingham Palace, juggling a few private meetings. First, King Charles III met with Mbelwa Kairuki and handed him the official paperwork for his new venture. He’s taking on the role of High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania in London.
Afterward, the King did the same with Ng Teck Hean. Teck is appointed the High Commissioner for the Republic of Singapore in London. Additionally, Charles chatted with Mok Ling Ling. That’s not all! He caught up with four British veterans of the Korean War at the Palace. We hope all this hustle doesn’t wear him down and that he comes out of his treatment feeling all well.
