Moreover, King Charles III holds Wales very dear to his heart after nabbing his first military gig as a colonel for the Royal Regiment of Wales. He was just twenty years old at the time!
Moreover, King Charles was the Prince of Wales for most of his life. Only after the Queen’s death did Charles ascend to the throne in September 2022. Remember the heartfelt moment when he became the King? The monarch wasted no time announcing William as the new Prince of Wales.
Speaking of family, Charles maintains the tradition by honouring St. David’s Day just like his late mum.
