The King will inspect the soldiers from a carriage instead of on horseback, as he did last year. The decision comes in the wake of Charles’ ongoing cancer treatment. Trooping the Colour celebrates the British monarch’s birthday. The tradition has been going on since the 17th century.
Although King Charles’ birthday is on November 14, the celebration will be held on June 15, following tradition. Meanwhile, Princess Kate who has been private about her treatment has been resting at home while undergoing chemotherapy. The Princess of Wales plans to make public appearances only if her doctors allow. We’ll be in for a surprise if she manages to appear on June 15.
