Jay & Pamela are the newest couple to grace the TLC family. They have recently begun their journey on the network as a pair with a rare kind of bone disease, which has made them brittle. It’s called osteogenesis imperfecta type 3. When they consulted doctors, they didn’t give them more than five years to live, but they defied all odds to live life ot the fullest.
As of now, the couple has been showcasing their relationship on the show and the hardship that comes along with their brittle bone disease. Time and again, the couple often talk about their fair share of struggles that appear with their condition. They again shared something very crucial from their life. What did they speak about?
Jay & Pamela: Couple Always On The Risk Of Breaking Bones Whenever They Get Intimate
There is a new couple in town and Jay & Pamela is their name. TLC just began airing their journey in the brand new show. It’s only been a few episodes, and they have a huge fan following. During a confessional, a producer was curious to know how the couple has s*x, especially when they are at a constant risk of breaking their bones.
Jay laughed it off by saying, “They risk it for the biscuit.” That’s because whenever they get intimate, concern for breaking bones is the last thing in their room. His partner Pamela was also laughing modestly while saying that they deal with it by taking pain meds the next day, but it doesn’t stop them from things heating up and getting steamy in the bedroom.
Jay & Pamela Proudly Embrace Their Bone Disease “Nothing To Be Ashamed Of” Despite It Being Taxing
It’s been a hard life for Jay & Pamela. Living life with osteogenesis imperfecta type 3 has been very hard for them. Yet, they don’t let it bring them down. In a recent interview with People, the couple opened up about their condition. It turns out the couple has endured more than 400 bone fractures throughout their lives. They also move in motorized wheelchairs to keep them safe.

Jay said in the interview that dealing with “chronic pain” is a constant for the couple. Hence, they lean into eachother for support. It helps them get through things because having so much pain because of their condition is really “taxing” for the two. Jay also said that being honest with one another also helps the couple. That’s because it helps them “push through” when they are “tackling tough moments”
Pamela added that the couple often does “mental check-ins” with eachother and constantly asks how they are doing. Then, they meet eachother where they are at. She profoundly said even when they are “having a bad moment” it’s a bad day and not a “bad life.” The couple is documenting some of these moments through their brand-new show.
Jay also feels that it is important for people to see their tough moments so they can relate even when they don’t have a brittle bone condition. After all, it’s common for everyone to have bad moments and bad days. Keep an eye on TV Season & Spoilers for more Jay & Pamela updates.
