But that’s not the only thing that sets them apart. In a brand new episode, Jay revealed something major about his life. He came out as a transgender man.
Jay said that he knew he was different since High School; he just didn’t have the words to articulate it better. Moreover, his partner Pamela was very supportive of him, and so was his family. Jay had come out to them a little over five years ago and considered himself very lucky and blessed for all the support he got from his near and deal ones.

It was quite wholesome and a moment full of strength for Jay when he came out infront of the national TV as a trans man. He acknowledged how different it was from just revealing it to just a bunch of people around him and then doing it in front of the cameras. Jay said that the authenticity that comes with leaning into who one is is something fans will get to see constantly in the show. Viewers were also curious about one more thing. After all, Jay has been living with osteogenesis imperfecta type 3, a condition that has given him brittle bones.
