Meghan Markle & Half-Sister Samantha Are In A Rift Again
The relationship between Meghan Markle and Samantha Markle was never good. Ever since Meghan became involved with the royal family, Samantha had been saying the worst possible things about her own sister.
She recently claimed that Meghan had lied to her daughter about the royal wedding and portrayed her in a bad light. The elder sister also claimed that the Duchess was misleading the public about their relationship and childhood. She opened up about the accusations and issues in a recent interview with Channel Seven’s Sunrise on Friday.
While speaking to the outlet, she said, “It was really surprising to hear that there was a narrative spun that made Ashley feel like she was not invited because of me.” The very fact that Meghan’s niece was not present at her wedding has come to light. Royal family fans know that Meghan and Harry tied the knot in 2018 at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
In addition, Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, was the only member of the family who attended the wedding. Earlier, her father, Thomas, was supposed to walk her down the aisle. But he went through a heart attack a few days before the wedding.
As of now, Samantha went on live TV and claimed, “I heard from a royal insider who knows, that was up to Meghan. So Meghan lied to my daughter, which made my daughter feel begrudging of me.” She also added, “I can see how my daughter would have felt, torn between the two. Then, feeling perhaps like she could not go to the wedding because of me.”
