Gypsy Rose Blanchard had a very tough life growing up. Her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, feigned illnesses for her daughter when she was just three months old. Things got so bad that Claudie used to say that her daughter had all the diseases in the world. Gypsy later retaliated against her mom, and she, along with her then-boyfriend, Nick Godejohn, murdered her mom.
Gypsy hid in the bathroom when Nick Godejohn stabbed her mother to death. The incident occurred in 2015, and during the trial, the court sentenced Gypsy to 10 years in jail for her involvement in the case. She actively participated in the planning process to kill Dee Dee. Gypsy served her sentence and is now free. In an interview, she shared her last words with her mother. She also shared how she felt when she heard Nick kill her mom. No matter what, it must have been difficult for her.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard revealed she was hiding in the bathroom when then-boyfriend Nick Godejohn stabbed her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Her mom died with the impact of the stabs. Gypsy was also arrested for her involvement in the panning and served 10 (8) years in prison. She recently got released and reconciled with ex fiance Ken Urker. They even welcomed a daughter, Aurora.

She recently revealed what her last words were to her mother. Her mother was asleep when Godejohn came to their home. Gypsy revealed that she met her mother before going to bed. She futher added, “I did go to the kitchen, and I gave her a hug, and I told her, ‘I love you.’” Dee Dee tortured her for years, and she suffered extreme abuse. She still clings to her mother’s memories as she was the one who raised her, but she can’t forget the abuse.
Gypsy further added, “I remember holding a pillow that I slept with every night and crying into it.” She added that she was apologizing to this pillow as if it was her mother. She kept on saying, ‘I’m so sorry, and I love you.’ Gypsy shared that she kept on smelling it as, in a sense, it was like saying goodbye. She also remembers that she could hear the stabbing outside.
Gypsy explained that at that moment, she wanted to help her mother but could not. She admitted that the thought in her head was, “I want to help,” but she felt almost paralyzed in her own skin and couldn’t move. She spent eight years in prison before the authorities released her on parole. After that, she first married Anderson but later got divorced. Now, she is with Ken.
