Especially now that she has amnesia, she herself can’t be sure of anything regarding her life. This sparks a very plausible question in our minds. When she returned to Port Charles with a baby bump and memory intact, she claimed it was Nik’s baby. While Nik tried to deny it at first, he did accept her claims for her word. But what if Esme was lying? Amnesiac Esme might be nicer, but we are talking about the OG Esme. Lying about her baby’s paternity would probably be one of the least evil stunts pulled by the teen devil!
Esme Recalls Spencer Being The Father
Esme is no stranger to lying, manipulating and scheming on General Hospital. What if she was deceiving Nikolas Cassadine? When she returned to PC, Spencer was in prison; what if she thought pinning her pregnancy on Nik would be more lucrative than tacking it on Spencer? After all, Nik has so much wealth under his thumb. And Esme had managed to seduce and manipulate Nik earlier. It’s easy to assume that she figured it would be easier to control Nik, rather than a morally stable Spencer.
Viewers might remember that Nik just took Esme on her word and never really got a paternity test done on General Hospital. So that leaves the playing field wide-open for a twist in the tale right there! As of now, Esme is suffering from amnesia, so she remembers nothing about her past or who impregnated her. She has just accepted her own story about Nik being her baby daddy. But what if her memory starts to come back, and she recalls that she lied! She had been intimate with Spencer as well as Nik just a few weeks apart. So there is a fair chance that she was already pregnant with Spencer’s baby when she seduced Nik!
Spencer Learns The Truth On General Hospital
In the end, the truth always finds a way of coming out on General Hospital. Thus, sooner or later, Spencer will definitely find out that he is Ace’s bio dad. If that happens, he will finally have an actual fighting chance of winning Ace’s custody in court. Moreover, it would weaken Esme’s case, as not only will she have her memory back of all the crimes she committed, Spencer will also accuse her of deceiving him and Nik. But where would that leave Spencer and Trina?
Because even if Spencer does win Ace’s custody on General Hospital, Esme might still have visitation rights, if not co-custody. That would still link Esme to Spencer through an unbreakable bond for the rest of their lives. Moreover, it won’t be the nice amnesiac Esme, it would be the OG Esme with her memory intact. Would Trina be able to deal with that? From this point of view, the SPRINA boat doesn’t seem to be sailing so smoothly in Esme-infested waters!
