Grab your tissue boxes, all the General Hospital fans it’s time for a very difficult goodbye. Actor Wally Kurth who plays Ned Quartermaine on the soap opera, recently opened up about a very difficult goodbye that he will be saying. Is it goodbye to the soap opera?
General Hospital viewers who have been keeping up with the soap know that recently Ned and Olivia renewed their wedding vows. They were ready to say goodbye to all the problems that they had been facing after Ned’s “slip” with Alexis. However, the latest spoiler suggests that it is the only goodbye. Ned is all ready to bid another very difficult goodbye to a very important woman in his life. This is none other than his mom Tracy.
General Hospital viewers know that Tracy recently made her way back to Port Charles. She came bearing the news of her husband, Luke‘s demise. Port Charles came together to celebrate Luke’s life and pay their respects. Since now everything is said and done, it looks like it’s the time when Tracy will leave once again. This will be a very difficult goodbye indeed.
In a recent interview with soap opera Digest, Wally Kurth says that he and Jane Elliott (Tracy Quartermaine) had gotten closer. The actor told the publication that Ned and Tracy’s characters are saying goodbye to one another once again. But, there is probably a little bit of Wally and Jane in there too.
Long-time soap fans would know that Kurth and Elliot go way way back. Before Kurth took on the role of Ned from Kurt McKinney in 1991, he and Elliot played lovers on Days of Our Lives. They played the character of Justin and Angelica.
Now that they have two bid goodbyes again, Kurth says that whenever they say goodbye to each other, they genuinely get sad to see each other go. He calls it a very strong and profound goodbye because they don’t know when they will get to see each other again. This is indeed a sad goodbye. Not just for Wally but also for all the soap opera fans who enjoy Tracy on General Hospital. Would you miss Tracy? Tell us in the comments below.
