Now that we know that Steve Burton (Ex-Jason Morgan) has left General Hospital, that makes him available for new gigs and opportunities. In the video he recently released, he made it clear that he was forced out of the show because of the vaccine mandate. He had applied for both religious and medical exemptions, but all of them were denied. However, he continued to stand by his decision because he believed that this was a matter of “personal freedom” for him.
The actor did express his desire to come back to General Hospital someday, but there is a potential that he might join some other soap opera for the time being. At this point, it is important that Burton focuses on the future and what that would mean. In the video, he also said that he doesn’t think that anyone should lose their livelihood about this. So, it would make sense that he would be interested in another stable job, maybe in a different soap opera. So, what could be next for him?
Celebdirtylaundry.com recalls Steve was a part of The Young and the Restless back in 2013-2017. He played the role of Dylan in the soap opera. When he exited the show, he was sent in witness protection. So, it will be very easy for the writers to bring Steve back as Dylan. However, there are other soaps that can also rope Burton in.
Steve is a fan favorite, and he will become an asset to whatever team he joins. However, we can’t take the fact that other soaps might eventually come up with a vaccine mandate too. So, if that happens, it would cause issues for Steve. Regardless, right now, he is optimistic about working somewhere else, and we wish him the very best.
As per the General Hospital spoilers, news of Jason’s demise will start spreading in the Monday episode, and it will come as a shock to many residents. How will everyone cope with that? We will have to wait to know. General Hospital airs on ABC all weekdays. Be sure to tune in and enjoy.
