The much-anticipated wish of the GH fandom is finally coming true. General Hospital spoilers reveal that actor Steve Burton is reprising his much-hyped role as Jason Morgan. During the COVID mandate era, the character was presumably killed off as Steve was axed for non-compliance with the mandate. However, the actor remained on good terms with the production, and with the mandate gone, he is ready to walk back onto the screen. But that’s old news now, right? Well, the latest scoop is, what if he’s not returning alone?

Just like Jason Morgan, Morgan Corinthos has been “dead” on the soap for a while now. But what if he, too, is alive somewhere, just like we now know Jason is?

General Hospital spoilers say that both returns could be connected. However, we don’t know yet what the backstory will be to justify Jason’s absence for the past years. But it is plausible that the soap will take the tried and tested captivity route. Perhaps one of Sonny and Jason’s enemies had been keeping him captive all this while. Needless to say, the same criminal could be holding Morgan Corinthos captive, too! We recently saw this story with Ethan.
So, the residents of Port Charles are really in for a bunch of shockers soon enough. General Hospital spoilers say that actor Bryan Craig may not reprise the role of Morgan. But that does not mean the character cannot come back. GH has successfully recast many front liners before. Thus, bringing a new actor to play Morgan is not out of the question. His return could easily be integrated with Jason’s. They could do a whole reunion in captivity thing, and then the duo works together to break themselves free!
