General Hospital spoilers reveal that things might change for Mac Scorpio in the upcoming weeks on the ABC soap. GH viewers know Peter August escaped while being shifted to Pentonville. He, once again, is on the run and pulling off a shady scheme. In fact, he is now planning to escape Port Charles altogether.
While he was trying to run off, the people supporting his escape shot everyone’s beloved Mac Scorpio. Mac got in the line of fire and got shot. Right now, he is in the hospital fighting for his life. While he has a dark past, he is a changed man now, and everyone loves him. But spoilers also suggest that Scorpio might be struggling between life and death. That raises many questions for the fans, will Mac Scorpio (John J. York) leave General Hospital?
Long-time viewers know that Mac Scorpio made his way to General Hospital in 1991. He came in as the brother of the spy Robert Scorpio. They used to fight bad guys together on the ABC show. Mac Scorpio then fell in love and married Felicia Jones. He accepted and loved Felicia’s daughters- Maxie and now late Georgie with all his heart. He is a good father and a husband that everyone loves.
As of now, Mac is the PCPD commissioner and deals with the bad guys every day. He is too good to be a true guy, and everyone absolutely loves him on GH. However, given the current storyline, we can’t help but wonder, Will Mac leave General Hospital? Would the soap writers actually write him off? Since things look bad with Mac being shot and fighting for his life, if Mac dies, it could affect General Hospital a lot.
With that said, viewers would be glad to know that there are very slim chances that he would leave the show. General Hospital spoilers for the upcoming weeks reveal that Mac would get better. It also seems very less likely that General Hospital would kill such a legacy character. So, the fans can be assured that Mac Scorpio is not going anywhere anytime soon.
