What in the Soap God’s name just happened? Our fingers shake as we type this, but General Hospital spoilers confirm that Esme Prince is gone forever. Yup! Her big plunge in the water with Spencer has marked the end of the she-devil’s villainous run on GH! But does that mean it’s really the end of the road for the phenomenal Avery Pohl, too? Let’s find out!
General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer And Esme Fall Off The Boat
We knew an uninterrupted Parisian love story for our young lovers was too good to be true. It is a soap, after all. Where is the fun without bouts of tragedy and drama sprinkled every now and then? General Hospital Spoilers spill that in the recent episode Esme ambushed Spencer and Trina while the lovers were on a romantic sail.
Soon enough, a scuffle ensued between Spencer and Esme when she tried to attack Trina. Pained by the stealing of her son and armed by her restored evil memories, Esme was her notorious best in the scenes. Unfortunately, it is the last we have seen of her, and she has bowed out with a bang. Er..splash, we mean. General Hospital spoilers confirm that in a bid to save Trina, Spencer falls off the boat and into the water with Esme. Resulting in both of them being presumed drowned.
The End Of The Esme Era, Avery Pohl Bows Out
General Hospital spoilers confirm that actor Nicholas Chavez is only taking a break from the ABC soap to accommodate the filming of his Netflix series – Monsters. As soon as the filming is done, he will be back and resume his role as Spencer on GH. This means he does survive the drowning but will remain missing until Nicholas resumes filming.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Esme Prince. Soap Opera Digest reports that a GH rep has confirmed that Avery Pohl has exited the soap as Esme Prince. General Hospital spoilers say that the character will not be returning. Per SOD – the entire cast of the soap is rather somber at Avery’s exit. The actress first stepped into the role back in 2021. And has been a mainstay ever since.
Consequently, she has forged some amazing friendships with her co-stars. Especially Tabyana Ali, her on-screen nemesis Trina! Tabyana tells SOD that it was an extremely sad day when Esme filmed her final scenes. “I’ll still call her every day, but I am going to miss seeing her at work,” Trina’s portrayer resigns. Well, honestly, considering that Avery is such a good actress, we truly hope GH finds a way to bring her back to the screen. Perhaps as a new character! Would you like that?
