Willow’s deteriorating health is a cause for great concern on General Hospital. The young mother has been battling advanced-stage cancer for a while on the soap. She kept pushing treatment because she was pregnant with Michael’s baby and did not want to put the baby’s health at risk. However, that just catapulted her cancer to a very dire stage. She now desperately requires a bone-marrow transplant if she wants to have any chance at survival.
The Nelle-Willow-Nina Connection
The lack of a bio-family has really shrunk Willow’s donor pool on General Hospital. However, the latest spoilers tease that a family member is coming back from the dead to help her! Would you believe us if we say it’s Willow’s dead twin, Nelle? Back in the day, when Nina had her babies in a comatose condition. Upon waking up she believed to have had one daughter who was given away for adoption. She never knew about Willow’s existence.
It was Harmony who told the truth to Carly, and then after a long secret keeping, Carly confessed it to Nina, so she could donate her bone marrow to Willow on General Hospital. However, fate was not in favor, and Nina ended up not being a match. Meanwhile, Willow was left to deal with a mother she did not ask for and still no bone marrow! However, her link to Nina, also makes her related to Dr. Liesl! which means Willow still has a minor chance of finding a match with Liesl.
Nelle Returns To Save Willow On General Hospital
Will General Hospital let Liesl be the one to save Willow? Maybe not! Because there is a bigger cow to milk here! Bringing Nelle back from the dead! By now, we know death is neither permanent nor the end on the soap. So it really won’t be surprising if Nelle showed up at Willow’s bedside and claim to have faked her death! Our time as soap opera fans has trained us to eat that story up and not even burp! Interestingly, there is a spoiler making round that GH makers have approached actress Chloe Lanier to return as Nelle.
