It was truly the end of an era when General Hospital bid Jacklyn Zeman/ Bobbie Spencer a tearful goodbye in the recent memorial. However, soap star Genie Francis has just dropped a sizzling hint that could bring an era gone by, right back! Yes, we are talking about Lucas Lorenzo Spencer. Originally and most popularly played by actor Anthony Geary. The man is a true legend when it comes to General Hospital. However, it has been forever since we saw him last.
In fact, to address his exit from General Hospital, the makers handed fans the lousy explanation of Luke having died off-screen in a cable car accident. A cable car accident? Really? Our Luke! That’s just not acceptable. These are the sentiments of countless GH fans. Even Soap Gods can’t get behind such a lukewarm end to him. Pun is very much intended! However, there is now a solid chance for the makers to redeem themselves from this half-baked death pie they offered.
We know that Carly and Felicia are jetting off to Amsterdam to finish something that Bobbie was doing there on General Hospital. Some spoilers reveal that Bobbie was there following up some leads about her presumed dead brother – Luke Spencer. Unfortunately, she passed away in her sleep before she could actually accomplish her mission. Fortunately, Carly and Felicia have taken it upon themselves to complete Bobbie’s quest. We wonder if this quest will ultimately end in discovering that Luke is actually alive!
General Hospital legend- Genie Francis dropped a hint on the same lines in a media interaction. She admitted that General Hospital could be setting the stage up for a huge comeback. Moreover, she added that she is keeping her fingers crossed for this one. If you ask us, it sounds a lot like Luke’s return to us! He really was Laura’s one true love. So, his return would have a major impact on her life. Besides, fans will be more than ecstatic to have him back!
