It’s a given that soaps are rarely ever kind to it’s characters, constantly throwing them in a whirlpool of troubles. But General Hospital is being especially harsh on Willow Tait. The young mother has had a rough life for many months, and her situation keeps getting dire with every passing episode. It’s as if every ray of hope comes up just to be extinguished. When Nina was FINALLY revealed to be her bio mom, fans thought even if Willow doesn’t want her as a mom, she will at least get a bone marrow match. Alas! that, too, fell apart when Nina’s tests came back as a negative match. Now Willow has lost all hope and has made a special request to Michael. But is it the same as what fans want for them?
Willow Makes A Dying Wish To Michael
The ways things have turned out for Willow, if we were in her shoes, we would’ve felt hopeless too on General Hospital. And that’s just so sad, considering that she is a wonderful young woman. She deserves to have a happy life with Michael and their children. However, without a bone marrow donor, her chances of survival are bleaker than bleak. Thus, she requested Michael that she wants to be married to him once again. But this time for love and not for means. Fans might remember that Willow and Michael had married once before, to help his claim to Wiley.
Willow now wants to move back home so she can be closer to her family on General Hospital. She wants their wedding to take place at the Quartermaine mansion. This is something Michael and Willow had been wanting for quite some time now. However, the wish coming true has a sense of sadness. Even if the wedding is lavish and a happy affair, a sense of impending doom will surround it. No one will be able to push the thought out of their heads that Willow might lose her grip on life at any point. This is something that is bothering the General Hospital fans too! They don’t want a dramatic bitter-sweet wedding. But is a happy wedding a possibility at this point?
Fans Want A Happy Wedding And A Healthy Bride On General Hospital
General Hospital fans think Willow has had enough of bad luck now. She deserves to be happy with Michael. Moreover, they don’t want a sad wedding for them. They feel it’s about time Nina and Willow realized that Liesl could be a viable option for a match. They are cousins, thus she can very well be a match for Willow. Moreover, the concern Liesl has for Willow, she would be more than willing to be her donor if they turn out to be a match.
Moreover, fans want Liesl to be the one who saves Willow’s life on General Hospital. Hopefully, someone will connect the dots and get Liesl tested before the wedding. If she comes back as a positive match, they can go ahead with the procedure at the earliest and then have the wedding when Willow has recovered. This way the wedding will be so much sweeter and more enjoyable. Michael and Willow can finally have their happily ever after with their kids in tow. After all these months of torment, this is would be a welcome change.
