In the recent General Hospital episode, a lot of things happened that have left fans pretty furious. The Tuesday episode of the soap opera saw a major confrontation between Alexis and Harmony. Harmony was all set to kill Carly when Alexis showed up to save her. Things got very heated there, and Harmony threatened Alexis to kill her. While this was a very interesting and soapy storyline. There is something that bummed all the viewers out. This was the Alexis recast.
General Hospital viewers keeping up with the updates would know that Nancy Lee Grahn is recast. Actress Stephanie Erb has taken over the role because our favorite, Nancy, is undergoing surgery. Owing to that, the actress had to take a temporary break, and Stephanie Erb overtook this role. While this would have been an interesting change, it looks like General Hospital fans aren’t liking this. The fans seem to have a very clear reason for so.
GH fans have been very vocal on social media, saying that the Harmony-Alexis storyline was very interesting, and they liked it. However, what they did not like is that GH brought a recast at the most important part of this storyline. This is something that had been in the works for months now, and seeing someone else instead of Nancy at the very climax wasn’t something that fans liked.
One fan says that this whole recast system stinks; they would love to see Nancy Lee Grahn doing these scenes. Another fan pointed out how it is a pattern. Nikolas was recast right before he “died.” Then, Nina was recast before the major Sasha reveal. Taggert was also played by a temporary actor before he came out of hiding. The fan seemed furious with how General Hospital has made a pattern out of this.
After this, many fans asked General Hospital why couldn’t they wait for Nancy to come back and demanded that Nancy returns ASAP. Right now, Nancy Lee Grahn, who usually plays the character of Alexis, is on a break because of her surgery. We hope she recovers soon and returns. It would be nice to see Nancy back on General Hospital. Do you miss her? Tell us.
