General Hospital – CRUSH ALERT! James Patrick Stuart Confesses Finola Hughes Makes His Heart Race

Valentin Cassadine and Anna’s romance is such a mega hit with General Hospital fans. Their chemistry is so magnificent that it comes as no surprise that they are one of the most loved couples on screen. In fact we have often seen that they share a wonderful affinity and rapport off the screen too. But did you know their acquaintance with each other heads way back in history? James Patrick Stuart and Finola Hughes have known each other for decades, even before they met each other on General Hospital.

The seasoned General Hospital stars recently shared with Soap Opera Digest that they were in the same acting class. Finola recalled that at that time, James was doing these really fancy movies with Meryl Streep. She looked at him and though oh, so that’s who he is. However, James first impression of Finola was much dreamier. The handsome actor gushed that when he first met her he was in his 20’s, and every time she was around, his heart would race. “Aw, that’s sweet,” Finola teased James over his confession.

If you think the above admission by James is cute, you will love what the General Hospital star said next. James admitted that back in the day, he could’ve never imagined that a day would come when he would be working with “Fin.” Moreover, they would, in fact, become a Daytime Supercouple. He mused that for him, it is a “pinch me” moment for him everyday. James sounds like such a smitten kitten! Had he not been so happily married to Jocelyn since 2000 and Finola to Russell Young since 1992, we would have started to ship them in real life.

Well, even if we can’t have them together in real life, at least we get to see their romance on General Hospital. Currently, they are on a mission to find and rescue Lucy from Victor’s clutches. They need to bring her back to Port Charles to prove Anna’s innocence. Victor tried to frame Anna for Lucy’s murder. However, Holly confessed that she did not kill Lucy and only knocked her out. Thus, giving Anna and Valentin the hope to find her and clear Anna’s name and reputation. Stay tuned to ABC over weekdays to continue watching Anna and Valentin’s journey.
