General Hospital fans who have been keeping up with the soap were in for a pleasant surprise in the Friday episode. Fans who might have seen the episode would have seen our very favorite Risa Dorken reprising her role as Amy Driscoll. She was at the hospital speaking to Finn and Liz about the whole “Bailey” situation.
Then, they also spoke about the clothing drive. Amy and her brother Chet were working on it for the veterans in need. Liz assured Amy that she would help. Not only that, but Amy also interacted with Finn, where she asked him questions about his romance. While Finn did not tell her anything, it was still good to see her in action.
It looks like the actress Risa Dorken is very happy to be back on the soap opera. She recently took a selfie on her social media, where she seems to be posing in front of the much-famous General Hospital board. While she is wearing a mask in the picture, the beautiful blonde assured fans that she was smiling under the mask in the caption. She says that she is extremely grateful to be back on GH in 2022. Risa revealed that it would be her sixth year as Amy. She asked everyone to tune in and also enjoy their weekend.
As soon as the actress posted this picture, fans and followers chimed in the comment section. While some called this a “wonderful thing,” others had some questions. One fan asked if Risa Dorken was back on contract? She was a part of the opening credits on the show, so that led this follower to be curious. A few other fans complimented the actress on her sweater and wished her the very best.
While we don’t yet know how long Risa is in for, we sure are happy to see her back in action. Long-time GH viewers would recall Risa’s character- Amy Driscoll was brought to life in 2016. She is often described as a spunky new nurse who can’t help herself from gossiping and putting her nose in the other’s business.
