General Hospital viewers, there is a possibility that you might get to see a face from the past coming back on screen soon. If the speculation is to be believed, actress Constance Towers is coming back to bring Helena Cassadine back to life. One of the Facebook pages recently reported that Constance Towers was taping in December for one upcoming episode of General Hospital. They promised to share the airdate soon.
Given that the news only talked about one “episode,” Tvseasonspoilers claims that there is a possibility that Towers could be coming back for a flashback scene. She might not be returning from the dead full-time, but this doesn’t end there. The post did suggest fans who want to see Towers come back as a villain contact the GH comment line at 323-671-4583 and tell them what they want. They also urged that the fans can tweet to General Hospital’s EP Frank Valentini and let him know that they want to see Helena for a longer time.
Long-time General Hospital viewers would recall Helena Cassadine‘s character was first introduced back in 1981. Elizabeth Taylor first played it. However, then Dimitra Arliss stepped in. Then, in 1997, Towers took over the role and made regular appearances until 2002. After that, she made occasional appearances before she was finally killed off in 2013.
But as soap viewers already know, dead doesn’t really mean dead on the soaps. So, she continued making appearances periodically. The last time GH viewers got to see her was in 2020 when she appeared in one of Valentin’s visions. He had come to know that he wasn’t true Cassadine after all.
But now that Victor claims that Valentin is his and Helena’s son, some questions need to be answered. So, there is a possibility that Helena might come back as a flashback. Alternatively, she might come in as a vision that tells Valentin the truth.
General Hospital has not yet confirmed anything about whether Constance is making a comeback or not, but there are rumors making rounds. So, that is a possibility.
