This is a temporary shakeup, and Marcus will soon come back. Long-time soap-viewers would identify Adam Huss as Lance from The Bold and the Beautiful in 2002. He was also a part of Days of Our Lives the same year. However, this will be his first appearance at General Hospital.
In a now-deleted post on Instagram, Adam Huss shared with his fans that he will take on the role of Nikolas Cassadine. He posted a picture and captioned it with “I heard a little rumor that I’ll be on @generalhospitalabc this week, getting to play #nikolascassadine for a moment” He asked all his fans to tune in on September 29, Wednesday for all the juicy stuff.
While we don’t know the reason for this shakeup, it looks like this will only be a one-day gig because Cuss has specifically mentioned that date. In the post, Adam Huss even talked about all the amazing people and professionals he got to work with. He specifically mentioned Maura West, Kin Shriner, and the casting director Marl Teschner.
Even if it is a one-day role, Huss will get to enjoy some intense drama. Right now, Nikolas is working to make amends. He is working to improve his relationship with her son.
