General Hospital has been experimenting with a lot of new cast members in the past months. While, some of them came in as recasts for existing characters, a few others joined in as completely new characters. However, one entry that made the most noise and for all the right reasons was that of actor Walt Wiley. He crossed over his Jack Montgomery from the cancelled soap All My Children to ABC’s lone standing soap, General Hospital.
His stint on General Hospital was just supposed to be a short one. In fact, Walt Wiley himself addressed the matter on his official Twitter (X) account. He clarified that while he loved his stay on the soap, it was doubtful that GH would bring him back again in the near future. But Hey! It looks like a lot has changed ever since! Jack’s interactions with Felicia and Lucy were so well received by the viewers that the makers have decided to treat the fans with another serving of dishy Jack Montgomery!
TV Line broke the news that the makers are bringing back Walt Wiley for another stint later this August! However, as last time, this too shall be a short stay for the actor on General Hospital. But we aren’t complaining! We will happily accept little of Jack as opposed to no Jack at all! Besides, who knows! If the massive response made the maker rope him for another stint. Another rave review might push them to retain him! And who wouldn’t love that!
In Jack Montgomery’s previous stint, Lucy and Felecia visited him in General Hospital’s version of Pine Valley. The ladies were hoping to pry out some information regarding Lucy’s shady fiancé Martin and his dubious finances. However, the women didn’t have much luck, as Jack saw right through them and called the cops. Unfortunately, Lucy and Felecia’s trip to Pine Valley ended in handcuffs, and not the furry ones! So it will be interesting to see where Jack will fit in upon his return to the soap.
Upon seeing the heartwarming response from General Hospital’s fanbase, Walt had taken to his Twitter to express his gratitude. “I am at a loss for words,” he wrote. A condition that Walt believes he hardly ever suffers from. “I cannot thank you all enough for loving and caring for me and Jackson,” he gushed. It looks like Jack has found the best way to thank the fans by choosing to return for another appearance on the soap! Are you as excited as us by this news? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more General Hospital updates.
