Tragedy is only ever a whisper away in Port Charles on General Hospital. While it makes for prime daytime entertainment, it becomes really painful when tragedy spills out of the screen and into real life. Something similar has recently transpired with a GH alum- Kim Delaney. Long term viewers will remember that Kim used to portray the character of Jackie Templeton on the ABC sudser.
The soap star is currently facing some major legal troubles. TMZ is reporting that a person named Dzhamal Badalov has filed some serious charges against the General Hospital alum. As per the sources, Badalov claims that back in November 2022, Kim Delaney ran into his motorcycle while he was waiting at a red light. Furthermore, the actress has been accused of erratic driving during the moments leading to the crash. That catapulted Badalov out onto the road.
Additionally, Badalov insists that after the accident, the General Hospital actress tried to flee the scene. However, the bystanders soon got involved, which prevented her from leaving. He adds that Kim then phoned someone, perhaps for help, all the while appearing to be intoxicated. In his reports, Badalov claims that the person Kim had dialed tried to bribe him. And asked him not to report the matter to the police. However, the victim turned down the offer.
General Hospital Spoilers: Kim Faces Criminal Charges In Los Angeles
After the victim rejected the bribe, the General Hospital actress fled the accident scene, making it a hit-and-run. Now, she is facing serious charges as Badalov is suing Delaney for damages. TMZ reports that during their investigation of the matter, they found that Kim is certainly facing criminal charges in Los Angeles. So, it is very much possible that it is for the same hit-and-run incident. However, Kim has not responded or commented on the matter yet.
But considering that it seems like a serious issue, we wonder if we will see her back in General Hospital anytime soon. Brook Lynn and Chase’s wedding is coming up soon on the soap.
