Esme Comes To Port Charles Pregnant
After Ava and Esme’s fight at Wyndermere, which ended in Esme falling off the parapet, she was presumed dead on General Hospital. However, sometime after that, she returned to Port Charles with a very pregnant belly in tow. Esme claimed to Nik that she was carrying his baby. Initially, Nik was horrified by the idea and rejected the claims. However, he soon bought Esme’s story because, well, he did have a one night stand with hers right before she fell into the dark waters.
However, it is to be noted that there was never any investigation done on substantiate Ace’s paternity on General Hospital. Everyone just accepted that Esme was indeed pregnant with Nik’s child. They even believed that this was the reason why Nik bolted from Port Charles. But what if Esme was lying from the very beginning? Of course, she doesn’t remember her past anymore, so she too believes that Nik was the father. But what if the real father is someone else? Wouldn’t it be so explosive of a revelation when she does get her memory back! After all, this whole track of amnesia and an eventual regain of memory has to account for something! Apart from a blatant attempt at white-washing Esme’s image. of course!
[THIS] Cassadine Is Ace’s REAL Father On General Hospital
But the big question here is, if Nik is not Ace’s dad on General Hospital, then who is? Well, he has been fighting left, right and center for Ace, right under our noses! Spencer Cassadine! Think about it! Ever since he found out about Esme’s pregnancy, he has been fiercely protective of the baby. He feels this inexplainable bond with him that definitely goes beyond step-brotherhood. Spencer is so protective and possessive of Ace that he would even put his own life at risk for him.
He is fighting an uphill battle trying to gain Ace’s custody just so he can give Ace a stable life that his own father, Nik, failed to give him on General Hospital. Moreover, off-late, it seems like GH is conspicuously trying to push Spencer and Esme closer to each other. Calmed-down behavior, sweet smiles, gentle glances, it’s all so tell-tale! It seems like it is all building up to the big revelation that Spencer and Ace are the real bio-parents of Ace! And we are being teased a perfect family, with Esme and Spencer not fighting so much anymore!
But what would that mean for Trina and Spencer? Trina has already admitted to Joss that she is not sure what her future with Spencer will be with Ace and Esme in it!
