General Hospital currently has most of its characters in the hot seat. Each of them is struggling with their own personal hell at the moment. Ava’s angry attack at Nik has landed her under Mason’s thumb. And taking orders from others isn’t really her strongest trait. On the other hand, her bestie, Nina, has also landed herself in a tight spot by leaking Carly and Drew’s insider trading intel to the SEC. As of now, both the ladies are in a position that could cause a literal blow-up with Sonny Corinthos. Could this put these gal pals at odds with each other? Would one of them sacrifice the other to save their own skin?
Ava and Nina Try To Keep Secrets From Sonny
Recently on General Hospital, Mason Gatlin finally made his latest set of demands to Ava Jerome. He wants to use her personal connection with Sonny to spy on his activities. Perhaps hoping to report the useful findings to his lady boss. While Ava initially was averse to agreeing to do Mason’s bidding, Austin warned her that they had no choice. He flat-out told Ava that if they refused, they both would end up dead. Now, that’s not an option, right? Ava has to live for herself and for her daughter’s sake.
Thus, she agreed to spy on her baby-daddy on General Hospital. However, that’s not a task as simple as Mason is making it to be. Danger always surrounds the dimpled don of Port Charles. Thus, Ava is literally preparing to dive into shark-infested waters. One wrong move, and her cover would be blown. There would be no saving her from Sonny’s wrath if that happened. Meanwhile, Nina, too, is harboring similar worries. If Sonny found out that she was the one who threw Carly under SEC’s nose, chances are he would call it quits with her!
Survival Of The Fittest On General Hospital
Now, Nina is doing everything in her power to keep her secret buried on General Hospital. As of now, her plan of trying to turn Drew against Carly seems to be going steady. If she manages to convince Drew that Carly would betray him in Sonny’s favor, he might want to beat her to a deal with the feds first. However, there is a chance that her plan won’t fly at all. Moreover, she is dangerously close to getting exposed. Until now, the only people who knew of her secret were Nina and Martin. Both of whom are her allies. But now, even Ned knows. Granted that he is fighting for his life, thanks to the swimming pool accident.
But he might wake up and blurt the truth at any point in time on General Hospital. Although, there is also a chance that one of her allies might turn on her before Ned ever gets the chance to expose her. Wondering why Ava or Martin would turn on her? Well, here’s why! Ava is playing a dangerous game of her own and risks getting exposed herself. If, at any point, she starts to feel like she is raising too many alarms with Sonny, she would need a deflection. A distraction. And what better than putting all of Sonny’s attention on Nina and Carly? While Ava may not particularly enjoy ratting out her bestie. She might just have to save her own skin!
