Coronation Street: Is Former Star Imogen Boorman A ‘Sexual Abuser?’
A former Coronation Street star, Imogen Boorman, faces legal consequences for sexually assaulting at a bar. As the reports say, the actress stripped naked at a gastro pub in Montrose, Scotland. Not only this, the 52-year-old hampered the bar staff with multiple ‘unacceptable’ acts.
Coronation Street fans must recall Boorman as Vanessa Morgan. She was mostly seen at the Bettabuy supermarket in Weatherfield. According to reports, after stripping, the soap star climbed up the bar to drink beer directly from the taps. She even sexually abused a male customer.
Additionally, the Coronation Street former yelled at the police officers while they were trying to help her put on clothes. However, this is not the actress’s first legal encounter. In the past, she has faced alcohol-related cases and has pleaded guilty to seven charges.
The ex-Coronation Street star is also on the sex offenders’ register. Reportedly, she is set for a court sentence hearing next month, as she holds account of all the charges. According to solicitor Nick Markowski, Boorman is suffering from complex PTSD. He added, “She’s extremely embarrassed and remorseful.”
Meanwhile, Sheriff Krista Johnston put off the sentence until April 2, 2024. She said, “I can see you hung your head as that narrative was being read out. No doubt it tortures you to have to appear and listen to what your behaviour was back then.” For more Coronation Street spoilers and updates, keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers!
