Coronation Street Actress Brooke Vincent Talks About The ‘Mum Guilt’

Former Coronation Street favorite Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) shared her motherhood struggles while working as an actress. The actress is a mom to two sons, ages three and two, with partner Kean Bryan. On ITV’s Drama Queens, she got really sentimental talking about thinking of taking a break from acting.

She got a call from her mom saying one of her boys was sick. Brooke explained how tough it was not to FaceTime her son while she was working. The Coronation Street star said, “The only reason I am trying not to cry is because my eyes will go all red, and then I’ll have to meet new people with red eyes…”

She expressed that the mum guilt is real, really real. The soap star was torn between sticking to a 9-5 job nearby and focusing solely on being a mum. She also made it clear that she’s putting family first and has no plans to return to Coronation Street. 

This is due to the show’s demanding work timing, and Brooke didn’t want that to affect her first baby. Additionally, the former cast member considered Kean’s football career and how it might shake things up for the family.
