The previous episode of the season was released on Mother’s day. And the title of the twelfth episode was ‘In Dreams.” The episode entirely revolved around Grace. She was seen sixteen years ahead in the future. There she happens to meet a young girl named Athena. She helps Grace to settle down. Moreover, Grace there meets aged Morgan.
Fans didn’t saw Grace being a part of the future. She died while having childbirth. Grace further finds all her friends to have a content future. The character later realizes that everything she is seeing is not real. Instead, it is a dream world as Grace is unconscious.
Grace soon realized that Athena is her daughter in the dream world. Therefore, she has to wake up in the real world to give birth to her daughter. Grace collapses in her dream and dies only to get back to the real world. By the end, fans saw Grace being convinced that Athena is the key to make peace. Is she really?
