1000 Lb Sisters: Tammy Starts New Business With A Friend, Will Launch A Website Soon
Tammy Slaton has been struggling with her obesity for a long, long time now. She was around 600 Lbs when she first appeared on the TV and began her journey to lose weight. By the end of the second season, she found out that she now weighs much more than before. Doctors then advised her to join an assisted living facility, which could help her get some results. For a large part of her life, Tammy had been dependant on her sister to take care of her. She only started earning after TLC signed her up for 1000 Lb Sisters.
Well, fans assumed that the TV star might be earning a lot off of the show. However, only recently, Tammy confirmed that she doesn’t get paid as much as people think that she does. In fact, she calls herself broke, while it’s the TLC producers that are getting rich. Finally, the 34-year-old celebrity has decided to start her own business, which might be able to help her stand on her own feet. In some of her recent stories, she promoted an Instagram page called @tammy.slatonmerch, which would sell her personalized merch.
The description of the page reveals that a website will soon be up for people to get the merch. The Instagram bio also mentions Tammy and @ix.sato as the creators. While there isn’t much information about her new friend and business partner, the two of them have done a couple of IG Live streams together.
1000 Lb Sisters: What Is Her New Business About?
Well, it has only been hours since the TV star announced that she’s starting her own merch. In fact, she and her friend haven’t even completed making the official website of their business either. However, the two of them are already ready to sell some items. A recent IG story reveals that Tammy and ‘Sato’ are selling some early merch products, including the popular phrases “Sodie” and “I pay my bills, my bills are paid”. There are chances that their business might later include more phrases from the show in the future. As of now, the duo might take a while to properly set up their business.
