Emmerdale is all set for some shocking revelations. Finally, the murder mystery of rapist Craig Reed (Ben Addis) is solved. Till now, all the speculations revolved around the Dingle family. But is it a Dingle? Absolutely not! It’s not someone from the Dingle family. That means Sam Dingle (James Hooton) and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), the primary suspects, are not in the picture anymore.
Lydia was almost sure that it was one of her family members. But it seems like she got it all wrong. Then, who could it be? It’s no other than Craig’s PA, Ruth (Luci Fish). Now, a number of questions arise among Emmerdale viewers. Why did she murder Craig? Did she do it under someone’s influence? Or did she have her own reasons?
Craig’s Murderer Revealed, Who Is It?
Emmerdale announced the murder of Craig in the upcoming episodes. Earlier, we saw that when Craig arrived in Emmerdale, he and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) bonded over their late child’s death. In between the moments, they nearly kissed, but Lydia stepped back. Craig couldn’t take her and raped her. After getting off the police’s hand, he was found dead by Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) in the Home Farm.
Since Lydia found out, she is on a mission to find her rapist’s murderer, and she is certain it’s someone from her family. She gathered her whole family to investigate about their whereabouts. The primary suspects are Sam And Cain. Sam was desperate to take his wife’s revenge. Also, Craig was spotted tied up by Sam and Cain. Still, it isn’t them, Who else could it be?
Emmerdale: Craig’s Murderer Is Not A Dingle
In the previous episodes of Emmerdale, we saw that, in order to take revenge, the Dingles arrived at one of Craig’s public meetings. In the meeting, they started questioning him about being arrested for a rape charge. After this, Craig asked Ruth to do something about his defamation. Ruth refused to help him and instead declared that she was quitting the job.
This was followed by Emmerdale fans being almost convinced enough that Ruth is the actual murderer. Fans went on Twitter (X) and put forward their thoughts. A fan said, “Why do I think the receptionist is going to kill Craig and not a Dingle like we are supposed to think.” Another fan declared that Ruth is going to be the reason for Craig’s downfall. This was followed by a number of posts that said the one person who knows a lot about Craig and can actually do something is her. Emmerdale fans were also expecting Ruth to reveal that Craig had made inappropriate sexual advances towards her as well.
