‘We Are Finding A Way To Co-Parent’ Says Emmerdale Star
Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden spilled the beans on how he and his ex-wife, Charley Webb, handle co-parenting. He discussed it all while chatting on Loose Women alongside his co-star Roxy Shahidi. The two were present to talk about their podcast, Celebrity Side Hustles.
Wolfenden shared about his split with his ex-wife. He highlighted that he and Webb remain good friends and are raising their three kids together. The actor said that they are still new at it. However, the good part is that the Emmerdale formers are still best mates.
He added, “That’s fantastic. It’s all quite new to us still at the moment but we’re still finding our feet, finding a way to do it and do it well. I think we are.” Let us tell you that the pair first crossed paths on the Emmerdale set in 2007 and tied the knot in 2018.
Nevertheless, last November, they mutually decided to call it quits. Webber posted on Instagram at that time, “It is with love and respect that Matthew and I have decided to separate. We remain friends, and our priority is the love for our children. For their sake, we would appreciate privacy at this time. C x.”
Emmerdale heartthrob echoed the sentiment with his own initial at the end. Later, he revealed through social media that it was Webb who pulled the plug on their marriage. This came after Rumors swirled about his new flame, Heather Scott-Martin. But Wolfenden set the record straight.
