Later, Mack breaks the news to her. Chloe acts fine until breaking down in Amy Wyatt’s arms. Mack returns to Charity’s arms and kisses her. Chloe immediately smacks Charity after seeing them together. If that wasn’t enough, she plots revenge by trying to run away with Reuben, knowing it will crush Mack.

In Thursday’s (22 November) episode, Chloe sets her plan in motion when Mack calls her to see whether he can pick up Reuben. Will Mack stop her before she leaves?

“Chloe Is  Embarrassed Being Taken For A Fool,” Jessie Elland

Emmerdale star Jessie Elland, explaining the whole situation, said, “For their first family Christmas, Chloe decorates the house early to surprise Mackenzie. She even buys him a Santa outfit for Reuben. As Mackenzie announces the split up, Chloe is devastated. The ITV cast added that Chloe “tries to hide how devastated she is by acting cold and numb.” According to her, this is only a bid to protect herself and her pride.

Jessie asserted, “I think she’s embarrassed being taken for a fool, to think that Charity and Mackenzie were together. And then she is frustrated and devastated to have another failed relationship – always being left and always feeling second choice.” The actress said that after seeing Charity and Mack together, Chloe felt “like she had never existed,” which prompted her to slap the Woolpack lady.
