Aaron has returned to the Dales after two long years. He was in a relationship with a guy named Marco in Italy. But now he is single after splitting up with. With Aaron, fans have been crazily requesting for Robert Sugden’s comeback. After all, “Robron” has its own fanbase. Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has finally addressed and responded to Robert’s possible return to the Dales.
Shaw discussed his return isn’t in her hands as Ryan Hawley (who portrayed Robert Sudgen) left Emmerdale on his own in 2019, according to Inside Soap. She expressed, “I love Robron – so I would reunite them if I could!” But she hinted that we may not see Aaron in a relationship anytime soon. But why?

It is very evident that after losing Liv, Aaron is pushing people away and just needs some time. He has made up his mind that if he doesn’t love someone, he won’t get hurt. Emmerdale producer Shaw said, “Obviously, we all love Aaron in a relationship, so sometime in the future, I’m sure we’ll go there. However, at the moment, what we’ll see is that Aaron doesn’t want to get hurt again.”
When Danny was asked about the same, in a conversation with TV Times, he said, “I think he’s (Aaron) so far away from being a father any time soon, or a husband.” Danny believes that Aaron needs to learn to love himself before he can let anyone else love him.” While revealing that he still gets messages about “Robron,” he expressed that he would love to work with Ryan Hawley again.
