Samson To Find Out The Dark Secret!
Earlier in Emmerdale, we saw Sam Dingle and Lydia Dingle’s son Samson Dingle started working at Craig Reed’s company. He thought he had found a great place to put his intelligence to use. Just when he started thinking of Craig as a person who he could look up to, the businessman turned things around. After Samson learned that Craig raped his stepmother, Lydia, he was terrified.
Recently, Lydia found out the truth behind Craig’s murder. In order to clear her mind, she decided to leave the Dales and stay at her mother’s place for a while. However, Sam offered his help, but Lydia declined. In the Monday episode of Emmerdale, Samson is sure that his family is lying to him. He is desperate to discover the truth behind Lydia’s sudden exit. He witnessed Sam’s cryptic response when asked about Lydia. Samson’s suspicion gets strong when Sam sends him outside the shop when Kim comes in. Later, he questioned his dad but was only left with no response. The young Dingle even confronted Kim but came out empty-handed.
Also, Cain is highly conscious of his part in Craig’s death, so he is paying close attention to everything that’s happening. Samson realises that Cain is acting suspiciously. Soon after, Sam said to his son, “You’re barking up the wrong tree.” To which Samson replied, “‘But there is a tree. You know when you know that everyone else knows something?” Sam simply responded that if there were anything Samson needed to know, he would have told him. Will Samson end up finding out the dark secret even Sam isn’t aware of?
Emmerdale Screens Lydia’s Surprise Cameo
In the last week of Emmerdale, Lydia marked her temporary exit from the Dales after Kim Tate confessed to her involvement in Craig’s death. Lydia felt betrayed and needed time to let things sink in. She can’t get over the fact that initially, Kim let Sam take the blame for Craig’s death while he was not at fault.
She has decided to stay at her mother’s home for the time being. The recent episode of Emmerdale saw Sam and Samson struggling to manage the household since Lydia left. The next scene features Lydia on a video call. The father and son express their fear of Lydia not returning as Samson video calls her to ask for help with menu planning.
Lydia promised that it was never going to happen. She said, “There’s no place like home.” She told Samson, “I haven’t left you or your dad. I just need a little space and my mum’s mustard-y mash..” While she declined their request to come back for Christmas, she assured them that she would be back soon. Let us see when she returns.
