There is a lot of talk among Emmerdale fans about whether or not Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) is friends with her co-star Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). Fans thought they would have a cold relationship like the one they have on screen. It turns out they share a much warmer bond than the tension they have on-screen. Elland says nice things about Atkins’ acting and hints that their characters might work together to get Mackenzie. People are getting more and more excited as they wait for the weeks to come to see how things play out on and off the screen for both actresses.
Emmerdale Actresses Reveal Their Behind-the-Scenes Bond
Jessie Elland talked about her friendship with Emma Atkins in an interview. She called her co-actress “incredible” to work with. In Emmerdale, Chloe Harris and Charity Dingle have been in a furious love triangle with Mackenzie Boyd. After Mack gets back together with Charity after a hilltop car crash. After all the drama and Chloe managing to survive barely, she has planned something big to take her revenge. However, off-screen, Elland lauded her connection with Atkins, stating, “Emma is incredible to work with; we get on far better than Chloe and Charity do (thank goodness)” ahead of Chloe’s busy week in the village. Working with this fantastic actress has taught me so much.”
The Emmerdale actress added that she wants to work with Atkins and is open to Chloe and Charity turning against Mack. She explained, “I’d jump at any excuse to keep working together, so I’d be all for a storyline of them both teaming up to bin Mackenzie off. She teased, “But who knows if they’ll be able to get to that point after everything that has happened.” Elland shared that the feedback on Super Soap Week crash scenes was “amazing” and thanked fans for supporting the plot. She expressed, “It’s so wonderful to hear how much people enjoyed it. We couldn’t have asked for a better reception.”
When asked about her mother, Kerry’s return to the Dales, Elland said that Chloe would definitely benefit from reuniting with her mother, Kerry Wyatt, and having another ally besides Amy. She remarked, “It definitely doesn’t hurt to have another person in her corner when you’re up against Charity Dingle.” Did she just confirm Kerry’s return?
