A beloved Emmerdale character has returned to the Dales after three years. In the Super Soap Week, Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) killer was finally revealed. Amidst the Dingle-centric week, DS Wise (Neil Roberts) has made his much-awaited comeback. Fans are beyond delighted and have gone to social media to express their happiness. DS Wise played an integral part in the show before. Fans are thrilled to see what he has got for us this time.
Emmerdale: DS Wise Returns, Fans Are Overjoyed
Emmerdale fans are thrilled at the return of their beloved character, DS Wise. In the latest episodes, Craig Reed’s murderer was revealed. During the investigation, flashbacks were provided that uncovered huge secrets of Dingle’s family members. Later, it came out Kim Tate’s (Claire King) horse killed Craig. Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) flashbacks unveiled that he, along with Kim Tate, left Craig to die after he was kicked by the horse. But Sam Dingle (James Hooton) still believes that he killed Craig as he was the one to beat him up earlier that day.
Amidst this murder mystery in Emmerdale, the thing that captured the audience’s attention the most was the unexpected entry of DS Wise. He was a part of the show three years ago. In 2016, he made his debut when he played an integral part in Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) sexual abuse storyline. Aaron went up to the police, informing them that his father, Gordon raped him when he was a child. DS Wise was in charge of the investigation. He left after appearing in an episode of 2020.
In November 2023, he is back again to investigate Craig’s murder case. He arrived at the Home Farm and began interviewing Kim Tate as the body was found on her land. Fans are celebrating his return by expressing their happiness on social media. One fan wrote, “It’s DS bloody Wise.” While another tweeted, “DS WISE!!!!! WHAT YEAR IS IT!!” Are you excited, too?
