The last time we saw Patrick Trueman on EastEnders was when he skipped town to go look for the love of his life, Yolende. This happened right after he got lucky with his bet on the horses. He felt like there was still a chance of reconciling with his ex-wife. Ever since then, he has been off-screen, much to fans’ disappointment. However, the EastEnders fans can cheers up since Rudolph Walker is back to resume his role as Patrick on the BBC One soap!
EastEnders: Patrick Returns Home To Devastation
While fans will be ecstatic to see him back on EastEnders Walford, Patrick will be devastated at what he returns home to. Upon arrival, Patrick will be shocked at how his family has fallen apart in his absence. He will find out about Kim’s prison stint. Moreover, he will be aghast at how she is battling with anxiety and panic attacks. Denise and Jack’s marital woes will be another setback for him.
However, the EastEnders spoilers tease that the soap legend will soon get past his initial exasperation and start taking inventory of all the damage. He will then start his quest to restore peace in his family by counseling Jack and Denise’s marriage. In the upcoming episodes, Patrick will walk in on Denise, suggesting a divorce. Later, he will have a conversation with Denise to discuss her issues. Reluctantly, she will open up to Patrick about her affair with Ravi. And how it was the starting point of her marital problems.
However, Patrick will take a softer approach with Denise on EastEnders. He will wager that Denise must have felt rather unloved to have felt the need to stray. He will then advise Jack not to put the whole blame on Denise. This will lead Jack to admit that he may have left Denise feeling ignored. Patrick will then urge to take actions to make Denise feel loved. Jack will then make a warm gesture to Denise by arranging a meeting for her and Kim.
