William Ellis as Theo Hawthorne is a relatively new addition to the cast of EastEnders. However, thanks to his impeccable performance and more than believable portrayal of stalker Theo, he has become rather central to the soap. Moreover, with the rising thrill in his tale with Stacey Slater, the storyline is quickly become this year’s most heated one! In the recent episodes, Theo’s truth spilled right in front of Stacey in a dramatic sequence. One would think that this would now mark the downward arc of this story towards culmination. Theo’s Partner In Crime!
The more the episodes unfold, the more we get this nagging feeling over how convenient everything seems for Theo. He is always at the right place to pull his stunts, he always has all the needed information handy. Just how? We can still make our peace with the fact that he is lurking around currently so he is in the know of all the latest. But how does he have so much intel about Stacey’s past? Especially, since he has just recently arrived in Walford!
It is almost as if he has an ally! Who keeps feeding him all the needed information on EastEnders. What if it really is true? Maybe Theo is not working alone and in fact has been planted in Stacey’s life by someone else. But who could that be? Who would be so hell bent on destroying Stacey Slater’s life? Sure, she has been on the canvas for a long time, and over the years has had numerous conflicts within number of people. But there is only one name that pops in our head when we think of revenge! It is none other than, Ruby Allen!
What’s Her Motive On EastEnders?
Think about it! The two started off as close friends but love got in the way of their friendship on EastEnders. Their common bone of contention, Martin Fowler, threw their fondness for each other off the rails. So much so, that after Ruby suffered a miscarriage, she blamed Stacey for it. Ruby framed Stacey for pushing her off the stairs at the club. Moreover, she even refused to drop the charges against Stacey. Later, she even had Jean arrested over drug related charges by tipping the police off against Stacey’s mother.
However, after a few episodes in September 2021, Ruby’s pile of lies came crashing down on EastEnders. The Slater family finally got the chance to seek revenge on Ruby for almost destroying their family. They exposed her to the police and Ruby was taken away in handcuffs. That was the last we saw of Ruby Allen! But what if she is back now? It certainly is the season for unexpected returns on the BBC One soap! It would certainly add a new thrill factor to the story!
