For months we had known that Theo Hawthorne is actually Stacey’s evil stalker as well as secret cam’s client on EastEnders. Although, she herself remained unaware that Theo was the threat she has been trying to protect herself from all this while. But that has changed now. In one of the recent episodes of the BBC One soap, the truth finally came out to Stacey in the most dramatic fashion possible. Thanks to Martin and Eve’s snooping, Theo had no option but to confess the truth to Stacey.
The sinister stalker made a full confession to Stacey right when Lily was giving birth to her baby girl in the living room on EastEnders. As expected, Stacey was horrified to learn that Theo was the man who had been terrorizing her relentlessly. Even though the truth really shook her, she still managed to collect her wits and tried to lock Theo out of her house. But, never being one to give up, he found another way to sneak right back in. Thankfully, Martin and Eve reached right in time and helped get rid of him.
Stacey Threatens Theo’s Life On EastEnders
After Lily gave birth and all was well on that front, Stacey went on to lodge a complaint against Theo on EastEnders. Unfortunately, the police did not find any evidence of stalking against Theo and were forced to let him go. Things became all the more worse when he showed up at the hospital to see baby Charli. Horrified by his sight, Stacey snatched baby Charli from him arms and explicitly threatened his life if he ever came near her of her family again. For a while there it really looked like she was able to scare him away. Especially, when Detective Branning pretended to not hear Stacey’s threat.
However, it looks like Theo won’t be giving up on his Stacey obsession so easily on EastEnders. The September 14, 2023, episode showed Theo inquiring about No. 31. Which happens to be the house exactly next door to Stacey’s. The episode revealed that Theo is the one who outbid Whitney and Zack to buy the house and has now effectively moved in! Later, when Stacey came out of her house to empty the bin, she was shell shocked to see her new neighbour!
