Recently, during a EastEnders press meet, the soap’s boss, Chris Clenshaw, teased some exciting upcoming storylines that will roll out ahead this year. One that caught everyone’s attention was that of a murder mystery! Chris revealed that the murder will take place in time for Christmas, and the victim will be a male character. However, he refrained from giving any more spoilers that would hint at the identity of the murder victim.
Moreover, EastEnders spoilers tease that six key female characters will stumble upon the dead male resident of the square. Suki, Sharon, Kathy, Stacey, Linda, and Denise are going to be the ones who uncover the body at the Queen Vic. Moreover, some of them might even have an involvement of sorts in the matter. Ever since the spoilers rolled out, EastEnders fans have flown in a frenzy to decipher who this male resident could be!
Who Is The Murder Victim This Christmas On EastEnders?
Most EastEnders fans are of the opinion that Vinny Panesar will end up getting killed this Christmas! It seems that Vinny has really racked up a lot of displeasure from the viewers after the stunt he pulled with Eve recently. Until some time ago, Nish was the number 1 detested Panesar on the BBC soap. However, his son, Vinny, showed his dark side when he discovered his mother’s affair with Eve. After berating his mother, he issued a menacing threat to Eve. Furthermore, he went to the extent of sabotaging the brakes of the car Eve was to drive. Thankfully, Suki’s fast thinking averted that tragedy. But Vinny managed to win audience’s ire nonetheless.
EastEnders fans believe that Vinny has effectively put himself on everyone’s hitlist with his erratic behavior. Some fans came up with a more logical theory that points towards Vinny being the murder victim. A flash-forward scene was aired earlier on EastEnders, that showed a glimpse of the dead-body. Fans pointed that the deceased was wearing cuff links, an accessory that Vinny often sports! Meanwhile, there are some fans who wagered that Nish still feels like a good candidate to get murdered on the soap.
Theo Hawthrone also won some votes from the EastEnders fans. Interestingly, in the press meet, Chris did tease that the Slater family will take center stage ahead this year and some shocking revelation regarding Theo will surface.
