EastEnders thrilled its fanbase by dropping the first of it’s kind FlashForward scene to celebrate it’s 38th anniversary earlier this year. The FlashForward scene revealed a male character’s death. The women of Walford, Stacey, Suki, Denise, Sharon, Kathy, and Linda stand around a male character’s dead body. The room is lit up with Christmas festivities, and Sharon is dressed as a bride. Implying that Sharon and Keanu’s wedding may take place in time for Christmas. And that might go on to become the scene for the crime!
The EastEnders FlashForward scene was very well received by the fans and has gone on to spark many conversation. Most of them centered around the identity of the victim! While a large section of the fanbase initially thought the victim would turn out to be a Panesar, Either Vinny or Nish. But, a recently aired scene is pointing towards another possibility. And honestly speaking, it does make a lot more sense. Especially going by the fact that the murder happens around Sharon’s wedding!
And The Real Victim of The EastEnders FlashForward Could Be…
We are talking about none other than Keanu Taylor. Recently, on EastEnders, Sharon, and Keanu shared some really heartwarming scenes while talking about their upcoming wedding! Sharon gushed about the money being transferred to Keanu’s account to make the bookings. Furthermore, she expressed her excitement over seeing Keanu and Albie dressed in bow ties at the ceremony. Keanu then added that it’ll be the three of them, and life cannot get any more perfect. He then proceeded to kiss Sharon on the neck.
As beautiful as the scene was, it did ring the alarms! Because let’s face it! Every time a character talks about how the future will be so perfect, it is always a prelude to upcoming upheaval. So, could the building storm on EastEnders eventually claim Keanu’s life? Long answer short, yes, it very well can! Earlier this year, the EastEnders show-runner, Chris Clenshaw, teased that there will be a lot of twists and turmoil in Sharon and Keanu’s tale. Their wedding date was originally scheduled for October 14, 2023.
However, many signs are now pointing out that the date could get pushed to Christmas Day. The first and the most obvious sign is Sharon wearing a wedding gown in the EastEnders FlashForward murder scene. The second sign is that Lisa Fowler has just returned to Walford with Peggy in tow. Moreover, she seems determined to make Keanu pay for what he did to her daughter, Louise Mitchell. There is also some buzz around Keanu’s history with Sam.
