EastEnders really stumped viewers with the latest shock twist in Suki and Eve’s love story. The two women started a clandestine affair earlier this year. Despite the stigma attached to extra-marital affairs, their relationship was the thing of dreams. The couple quickly became one of the most adored pairings of the BBC One soap. With fans wholeheartedly cheering for them. However, the affair ended unexpectedly when Vinny blackmailed his mother-Suki, into breaking up with Eve.
However, in the recent episodes, Vinny had a change of heart and he pushed his mother to start a new life with Eve on EastEnders. Unfortunately, right before the lovers could escape together, Nish found out the truth through a CCTV footage of Suki and Eve kissing. That brought their reunion to a screeching halt. Not only did he ambush Eve, but also bullied Ravi into finishing her off and doing away with her body. However, Eve managed to convince Ravi to let her go alive.
Eventually, Ravi agreed. However, he warned her that if she ever returned, Suki and Stacey will die as a result on EastEnders. Later, to cover up their tracks, Ravi and Nish sent Suki a text from Eve’s phone stating that she has changed her mind and is leaving town to get away from Suki. Stunned, Suki approached Stacey to find out Eve’s whereabouts. However, Stacey admitted that she though Eve had eloped with Suki. Later, when Stacey received a Christmas card from Theo, she feared that he could have had something to do with Eve’s dissapearance.
The two ladies then approached the police for help on EastEnders. However, much to their disappointment, the police informed them that they can’t do anything as there is no evidence of foul play. Yet, Stacey and Suki are convinced that Eve could not have fled just like that. They can feel it in their bones that something is wrong. Moreover, now that Nish knows of Suki’s betrayal, his behaviour may change towards her. Could that give Suki a hint about what could have happened?
Or will Stacey seek Jack’s help in trying to trace a missing Eve on EastEnders? There is also a chance that Eve might make an unexpected return right around Christmas to stand by Suki against Nish. After all, Suki and Nish both are involved in the Christmas murder story. So the narrative fits, if you ask us! What do you think? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more EastEnders updates on the search for Eve.
